Syam Indra Pratama CJ

Syam Indra Pratama is a journalist officially certified by the Press Council since 2011. With over 14 years of experience in journalism and writing, Syam has served as an editor-in-chief, editor, and reporter.

In 2010, he worked as a journalist for Jawa Pos Group, the largest media network in Indonesia, with over 200 media outlets across the country.

He is also one of the top alumni of the Indonesian Journalism by the Indonesian Press Council in 2011.

He has also edited more than 10,000 news articles and writings as an editor and editor-in-chief in newspapers, magazines, and digital media.

Additionally, he is the author of five books, including two that focus on the coffee industry. Syam is among the first Indonesian to write about the history of coffee in Kalimantan in a book.

Published in 2022, the book titled Coffee Beans That Tell Stories in Borneo was appreciated by the Banjarmasin city government and the Mayor of Banjarmasin at the time.
